Ron’s music has centered around folk and soft rock of the 1960s and 70s. He purchased his first guitar, a Guild Madeira, at Whittaker Music in Long Beach in 1974 forming a 50 year music partnership between instrument and musician that continues to this day.
After so many years, Ron had the opportunity to record some of his favorite songs with his brother, Paul.
Selections on this album feature Ron on lead vocals and guitar and Paul on keyboards and drums. Good friend, Pet Benitez, contributed backup vocals and bass guitar on several selections.
Note: I Know a Heartache by Jennifer Warnes and Rhythm of the Rain by “The Cascades” are two hits from the 1960’s-1970’s that Ron has combined into one classic song.
