ACTS
This is a rock opera from 1973 based on the Biblical story of Peter and Paul as told in the book of Acts. It was written by Jan Fischer, Paul Bourassa, and Paul Dobies and was performed during the summer of 1973 at various churches in the Los Angeles area by the Genesis group. Below are the songs from the score that were originally recorded on a reel-to-reel tape recorder from the stage during a live performance. Other instruments were overdubbed in 1988 by Paul Bourassa to finish the arrangements. The picture above is from the Pentecost Day scene.
