Long Beach City College Choir  (1969-1972)

From 1969 to 1972 Paul Bourassa was a music major at Long Beach City College.   He performed with the College Choir as part of the curriculum and received his music degree in choral conducting. He toured with the choir throughout California and performed with various choir subgroups.   He also played guitar and piano on a few tunes and was awarded Choir Freshman of the Year in 1970.   Many of the members of Paul's next music groups came from the choir.   The picture above shows Paul rehearsing with the Men's Chorus subgroup.   The songs below were from a vinyl record album the choir recorded in 1970.

Wayne Gard - director
Janet Billings - piano accompanist
Dean Hamill - lead guitar
Paul Bourassa - guitar and keyboards
Randy Johnson - bass guitar
Darby Diaz - drums
